In a single 90 minute training Dee showed us how to create boundaries in our home. Now Bagel never goes upstairs, bolts out the door, chases other dogs and walk on a leash.

Butters, my 3 year old male Bichon-poo, was previously trained but needed a little refresher / advanced training course. I noticed he still got a little too excited when in contact with people and other pets. No aggression… just sheer excitement; he loves to play with everyone and anything. It’s not a bad thing, but I did want more control on the leash and the few times I let him roam in front of the house off the leash.
Dee was able to train my girlfriend and I how to manage Butters on and off the leash. Being consistent was probably the most important lesson learned. And having my little Butters walk next to me without a leash and not worrying if or when he is going to bolt toward the first kid he sees playing the sandbox is a WONDERFUL feeling.
It helps that Dee is very knowledgeable in dog behavior and is very approachable. She honestly thinks there are no dumb questions. It was a pleasure working with Dee.

Kalie, a Belgina Malinois, is the youngest of my three dogs and was driving me nuts. She was totally uncontrollable and I actually had thought I might have to give her up. I met Dee during a volunteer event and she offered to help. Dee came to my house and helped me work with Kalie. The change was almost immediate. Where at one time, if she was off the leash, she would run away and not return, she now returned even after seeing peacocks! Training made a huge difference and she is now a pleasure to take anywhere.

Before we hired Dee as our trainer, Oscar, our standard Dachshund, was impossible to manage and didn't consistently listen to or obey our commands. However, with her help, we realized that Oscar wasn't the problem...we were. After implementing the "pack leader' mentality and working diligently with him, we now walk easily and have developed a healthy relationship built on exercise, discipline, and love. I think the most important skill we learned was to be consistent, patient, calm, and assertive with Oscar. Thanks Dee.

You have a wonderful presence and make training fun and educational. If I ever get another dog (which I may do soon) I will be calling you to sign up for another class. J Thanks again!
