“Helping dog owners build a better relationship with their dogs through training and behavior modification is what I strive for with every session. I want dog owners to have the same kind of relationship I have with my dogs - a FUN ONE WITHOUT STRESS! Both of my current dogs were rescues which were given up by their previous owners for countless reasons ,including hyperactivity and destructive behavior. These types are behaviors are the most common that I deal with, although I also help modify aggressive behavior (mainly those dogs who suffer from fear related aggression). And now? Well, they’re not perfect (no dog is!) but they’re pretty darn close. Zoe is a heck of an agility dog, and oxford could out obedience anyone in rally! I train dog owners to be more attentive to the needs of their dog, by understanding their behavior, and way of thinking, better. My slogan, “You don’t have to be RUFF to teach your dog stuff” was inspired by all the dogs that have been able to teach without the use of physical punishment -- just kindness, determination, and a tasty bag of treats!
